Curtis Bashaw

Co-Founder and Co-Managing Partner

Curtis Bashaw is a seasoned hospitality executive working in the industry since 1982. Known for his vision and creativity, with expertise in adaptive reuse, resort and urban development, Mr. Bashaw is both a developer and a hotelier. His projects have earned various commendations from Preservation New Jersey and the New Jersey Legislature for their preservation and economic redevelopment impacts and awarded accolades by Condé Nast Traveler, Zagat and numerous other publications. Mr. Bashaw served as the Executive Director of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and currently serves on the Boards of the Tribeca, NY based New York Academy of Art and of Stockton University in New Jersey.

Curtis Sachs

Executive Vice President of Finance and Acquisitions

Curtis Sachs joined Cape Resorts in September 2007 and has served as senior executive and project manager on the firm’s hospitality and retail projects. Mr. Sachs now oversees the company’s new acquisitions as well as the company’s institutional investor and lender relationships. Prior to joining Cape, Mr. Sachs was a commercial real estate lender in the Real Estate Credit Group at Union Bank (formerly PB Capital) and M&T Bank, both located in New York City. He graduated from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree and a concentration in Real Estate Finance.

Patrick Logue

Vice President of Operations

Patrick Logue joined Cape Resorts, in 1992 from Hilton Hotels. Mr. Logue brings more than 25 years of hotel industry experience to the role of Vice President of Operations. Mr. Logue joined The Virginia hotel where he served as Director of Sales and General Manager. In 2001, he served as a Project Manager charged with rehabilitating and developing Cape May’s historic Congress Hall hotel. After the renovation, Mr. Logue had the honor of reopening Congress Hall as the hotel’s General Manager. During his tenure as General Manager he established and led a sales organization of six employees for Congress Hall while overseeing the development and opening of a state-of-the-art meeting facility, the Harrison Room. In 2006, Mr. Logue was promoted to Vice President of Operations for Cape Resorts, where he currently oversees daily operations for seven properties including 1,300 employees and managers.

Colleen Buckley

Vice President of Marketing

Colleen Buckley joined Cape Resorts in March 2011. Ms. Buckley brings more than 15 years of hotel industry experience to the role of Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining Cape Resorts, she held several key positions with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in global brand management, global revenue management, marketing, operations and sales. Most recently at Starwood, Ms. Buckley led Global Brand Management for The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, where she was responsible for the overall strategic direction of the brand, one of the largest luxury hotel brands in the world. She is a graduate of University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science from the Hotel Management Program with an emphasis in marketing.

Krisha DeVore

Vice President of Revenue Management

Krisha DeVore joined Cape Resorts in August 2010. Ms. DeVore brings more than 15 years of hotel industry experience to the role of Vice President of Revenue Management. Prior to joining Cape Resorts, she held several key positions with Marriott, Ritz-Carlton and Dolce Hotels in revenue management, and reservations. Ms. DeVore holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Central Florida, and is a Certified Revenue Management Executive.

Colleen Bashaw

Head of Design

Colleen Bashaw graduated from St. Lawrence University with a degree in Fine Arts. Her love of art and design landed her a job at Parish Hadley, Inc. on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where she was mentored by Libby Cameron, Sister Parish’s protégé. Ms. Bashaw started her company, Colleen Bashaw Interior Design, LLC, in 1997. Her love of architecture, keen eye for color and passion for design allows her to create sophisticated interiors. She has clients in Colorado, New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island. Ms. Bashaw is the head of design for Cape Resorts, a real estate company in lower Manhattan. She has completed the interiors of The Congress Hall Hotel, The Virginia Hotel, The Sandpiper, The Star Inn and The Beach Shack.
